strong core… *Equipment Needed : Stability ball. Hand weights. Mat.
Focus : Sculpt beautiful abs in class today using the small stability ball to isolate and concentrate our efforts. We will whittle away our middle today! To do so, we will be using hand weights to increase physical definition as well as intensity. All the while we will carefully use our foundational Pilates core principles and exercises. Though this is a core centric flow, we will work our whole bodies 360° around: inner thighs, pelvic floor, obliques, abs, glutes, back, you name it!
Class Level : Intermediate.
The Course of this Class : Starting on our backs with some yummy thoracic stretches, moving to our sides, prone and then up into planks. All this with the ball as both a support and an added challenge. It will help us gain more range of motion in addition to helping us connect to our deep abdominal muscles building more strength for a strong core and healthy back.
Goals : Sculpt more definition in our muscle tone and develop a stronger core.
